MossDL guide

Getting started.

MossDownloader is in development. The interface may change between builds; the screenshot on the home page shows the current development interface.

1. Get the application

Check the download page for public Windows release availability. When an installer is available, read its release notes and follow the installation prompts.

2. Add a URL

Open Downloads and choose Add URL. Enter a direct file link and review the options shown before adding it. A webpage address is not always a direct download link.

3. Explore a supported source

Use the Explore view to inspect a supported link and review available files. Choose the items you want to add. Availability depends on the source and any access requirements it imposes.

4. Manage the queue

The Downloads table shows file status and transfer information. Use the available controls to pause, resume, retry, or remove items. Resume support depends on the source server and link validity.

If a transfer fails

• Check that the original link is still accessible and hasn’t expired.
• Review the reported error before retrying.
• If reporting an issue, include the application version and steps to reproduce. Remove private links, passwords, and account details.
